Scottish Association of Social Work
Human rights are an essential part of the BASW code of ethics. They inform the key principles of the social work profession: Upholding and promoting human dignity and well-being, respecting the right to self determination, promoting the right to participation, treating each person as a whole, and identifying and developing strengths. We are all unique and all our voices count. We fully support the declaration and are committed to working with and for people to make the jargon "real" on the ground where it matters.
